BioWare is momenteel bezig met een MMORPG van het Star Wars-universum. Star Wars: The Old Republic speelt zich af in de tijd van de Knights of the old Republic-games. Daniel Erickson van BioWare meldde vandaag dat The Old Republic voorlopig niet naar de consoles komt.
I can tell you that it's not anything that we've even discussed. There is nobody anywhere in Bioware laying the groundwork for that because we have a very large complicated game to ship first.We all know the drawbacks of PC. We all scream at our boxes and try to make stuff work. But at the same time, the interface is made for games. The mouse/keyboard interface allows so much less restriction
Het is nog maar de vraag of The Old Republic ooit zijn weg naar de consoles gaat vinden. De plannen zitten er nu nog niet in. Daarnaast zijn de controls van de game ook beter voor de pc. Star Wars: The Old Republic verschijnt in de lente van 2011.
